This website grew out of my conviction that most dating advice is geared towards bimbos who want to “get a man” rather than find the greatest love of their life.

Most of us don’t have time to prowl grocery stores, bookshops, and coffee houses in search of the perfect man. We’re busy women. We have jobs to go to, children from a previous relationship to care for, friends to socialize with, and a house to keep up. Immature tactics like playing hard to get or not calling him back take too much deception and manipulation to fuss with.

If you’re a real woman, your love life is much more complicated than a 20-something just starting out in the dating pool. You already know a thing or two about relationships, so you don’t need the dumbed-down version of how dating works. You want advice that’s relevant to who you are now. Maybe you’re a single mom, or maybe you’re entering your golden years. Maybe you’re struggling to cope with a long-distance or cross-cultural relationship.

Whatever your needs, you are unique. You don’t need the same kind of advice that everyone else is getting. And that’s what Real Women, Real Love is all about.

I like to see myself as your guide to the complicated, messy world of dating advice. I consider myself very lucky to have spent the past few years getting to know most of the big names selling dating advice online: people like Mimi Tanner, Cucan Pemo, Christian Carter, Amy Waterman, Renee Piane, and Emily McKay. They are real people, not just names that come up on Google when you type “attract men” into the search bar.

And I want to pass down to YOU the benefit of my personal experience with these expert authors. You’ll get to know what each of them believes, whether it’s any good, and whether their advice is the right fit for you.
